he also hugged various other characters, i didnt get the point of that line it made no sense but then again the whole finale made no fucking sense

I’m pretty sure he even hugged Vicky when she was transitioning, and maybe even Klaus in the 20s when they were buddies.

Couldn’t they just let Stefan go to Portland? Couldn’t they just let him try to move on and be happy? Did they really need to break his heart, make him say goodbye to his best friend all over again, have him find out he’s a doppelganger of an evil, immortal warlock AND get locked in a safe, drowned and tossed off a cliff ALL IN ONE EPISODE? Was that really necessary Julie Plec? WAS IT?
